About
I’m a psychologist and educator providing trauma-informed therapy for adults and young adults. My practice supports people who feel stuck; often after years of surviving emotional neglect, narcissistic abuse, or unhealthy relationship dynamics with partners, family members, or authority figures.
Many of the clients I work with struggle with chronic shame, self-doubt, emotional numbness, or disconnection from others. Some feel isolated or angry without knowing why. Others have been labeled with terms like codependent, borderline, or incel - labels that name distress but rarely point the way toward healing. I offer a space to examine those patterns with clarity, depth, and without judgment.
My approach is grounded in schema therapy, attachment theory, and psychodynamic thinking. In our work, we explore how protective strategies developed, what they cost you, and what alternative ways of being might now be possible. Therapy is structured, collaborative, and paced to match your capacity. You don’t have to perform. You just have to be willing to look.
I work extensively with people who feel disconnected or emotionally trapped. If you’re dealing with resentment, loneliness, or relational confusion, therapy can help you understand how those experiences formed and what it would mean to move beyond them.
Alongside my clinical work, I teach psychology and statistics at the university level. My teaching informs my clinical work and vice versa: both depend on clarity, attention, empathy, and deep respect for complexity.
My practice is inclusive and affirming of gender, sexual, and neurodivergent identities. You don’t need to fit a diagnosis or be in crisis to begin. If you're looking for therapy that’s honest, focused, and attuned to complexity, I welcome you.
